I’m very intrigued by this decentralized storage project. It’s called Arweave
and its motto is “pay once, store forever.”
It seems to be kind of like Filecoin, Storj, Sia, etc. except that it has an “endowment” scheme where you pay upfront money that then accrues interest, and the interest pays for the continued availability of your data on the network forever.
I’m also curious
about whether it’s cheaper or more reliable than just hooking up some DeFi lending scheme like Compound and creating your own endowment that pays for storage on the other networks.
